Andrew Dean PortraitAndrew has over 25 years experience within the industry and has managed; multi-site contracts, Hotels, Private Members Clubs, Cafes and Restaurants.

Since 2001 Andrew has been successfully advising local authorities and other public funded bodies on their catering, and hospitality operations in a broad range of facilities including Museums, Concert Halls, and Theatre venues, Civic Buildings, Town Halls, Assembly Rooms, Parks/Open Spaces and Arts Centres.

As a past operator himself Andrew has an extensive commercial and technical appreciation and an innate understanding of what is required to set up, operate and deliver a successful catering operation.

Andrew’s greatest skill is turning around and developing poorly performing or tired catering operations unlocking their potential to yield greater returns and increase customer satisfaction

Andrew has delivered keynote speeches at Trade & Professional conferences for organizations including the TMA (Theatrical Management Association) and was previously engaged by Arts Council England to provide specialist catering support on their stabilisation and recovery programme – providing practical advice and guidance to reduce operating deficits.
